The Telemetrics Teleprompter Adapter TM-TA-HDC provides power to a large teleprompter for studio and remote field production applications. It eliminates the need for additional cable runs along the HDTV camera cable for teleprompter power. Designed for the Sony HD Series Camera, it allows for portable camera flexibility with studio camera teleprompter feature. The unit is separate from the camera body and fully transparent to camera operation. It provides power at the camera head location. It is connected directly to the HDTV camera cable (looped through) and extracts teleprompter AC power. The 240 VAC from the HDCU-1000 CCU is transformed to 115 VAC to power the teleprompter, eliminating the need for a local AC source.
