! INSTALLATION!INSTRUCTIONS! Backup Camera Interface for MERCEDES (Kit # 9002-2775) Please read thoroughly before starting installation and check that kit contents are complete. Items Included in the Kit: Tools & Supplies Needed: 9002-2775 module LVDS video input cable IR eye Power/Camera T-harness Remote These instructions Wire strippers Wire cutters Electrical tape Zip ties Plastic panel removal tools Screwdriver Socket set Wrench Safety Precautions: • Work in well ventilated area that is clear of obstructions. • Secure vehicle with tire chucks in both front and rear of tires. • Turn vehicle accessories OFF and ensure ignition key is in OFF position. • Wear safety goggles and snug fitting clothes. • Use tools only for their intended purpose and which are in good repair. • Only perform this task if confidence, skill, and physical ability permit. Remove the trim around the radio. 4. Plug the factory connector into the female end of the Power/Camera Tharness. 2. Remove the radio from the dash to gain access to the backside of the radio and plugs. 3. Locate the main power harness and disconnect. 5. Plug the male end of the T-harness into the factory radio where the connector was just unplugged. 6. Remove dash trim around screen to gain access to the screws holding in the screen. 7. Remove the screws holding in the screen and remove. 8. Unplug the LVDS connector from the back of the screen and route to where the 9002-2775 module is installed. 9002-2775.doc Page 1 of 2 ! INSTALLATION!INSTRUCTIONS! 9. Plug the LVDS connector into the 9002-2775 module into the port labeled VIDEO IN. 10. Plug the blue plug of the LVDS video cable into the connector on the back of the screen where you just unplugged the factory connector from. 11. Connect the other end of the LVDS video cable (small white Molex plug) into the 9002-2775 module, In the port labeled VIDEO OUT. 12. Check the dip switches to make sure they are set correct. 13. Plug the white Molex plug from the Power/CAN harness into the 90022775 module, in the port labeled POWER/CAN. 14. Connect the camera RCA into the yellow RCA on the Power/CAN harness labeled CAMERA. 15. The 9002-2775 module has a +12 volt reverse wire output for the camera. Use either of the brown wires on the Power/CAN harness. 9002-2775.doc Page 2 of 2 16. Check to see if the interface is working correctly. By starting the vehicle and shifting the vehicle into reverse. 17. Reassembly the vehicle in the reverse order.
