With Midi Space LTO, medium-sized production companies and smaller facilities have the power, capacity and data security to compete at the highest level. Its 32TB primary storage is lightning fast, enabling multiple editing, sound and graphics specialists to share high resolution content. All workstations can access content instantly; new team members – and freelancers – can join projects without client licenses, system re-configuration or drivers. Finally completed projects are transferred via the built-in LTO-5 tape drive for backup and archiving. This fast and robust workflow is ideally suited to organizations that take creativity, media management and data security seriously, and need the convenience of a single system.
The Detail Desktop unit combining RAID protected video storage with a full-speed LTO-5 tape drive. Connectivity: uses standard 1Gb or optional 10Gb Ethernet. Scalability: four 1G Ethernet (GbE) ports with an expansion slot available for an additional 4 direct connections. Or add up to four 10GbE ports. Future-proofed backups and archives: compatible with open standards systems thanks to the use of the TAR backup format and XML database file system. Easy to use archive, backup and restore software built in, with no client software.
