iPad  Multiple  Announcer  Setup  Guide       We are essentially making 3 connections… • Headset to Audio Board/Amplifier • Amplifier to Audio Board • Audio Board to iPad via Tascam iXZ iPad  Multiple  Announcer  Setup  Guide       Headset to Audio Board/Amplifier 1. Connect headset’s gray plug into audio board’s LINE IN port 2. Connect headset’s black plug into amplifier’s HEADPHONE 1 port iPad  Multiple  Announcer  Setup  Guide       Amplifier to Audio Board 1. Connect ¼” to ¼” audio cable into amplifier’s INPUT port 2. Connect ¼” to ¼” audio cable into audio board’s PHONES port iPad  Multiple  Announcer  Setup  Guide       Audio Board to iPad via Tascam iXZ 1. Connect ¼” to ¼” audio cable into MAIN OUT L 2. Connect ¼” to ¼” audio cable into Tascam iXZ audio interface device 3. Connect Tascam iXZ audio interface device to iPad headphone port iPad  Multiple  Announcer  Setup  Guide       Tascam iXZ configuration • • • Set MODE to GUITAR Set PHANTOM to OFF Spin INPUT toward the RIGHT to raise volume iPad  Multiple  Announcer  Setup  Guide       Additional Considerations • To prevent the Tascam iXZ device from dangling during your broadcast and causing stress to the wire, you may want to tape it to the back of your iPad mount • Keep an extra set of two AA batteries on hand for the Tascam iXZ and turn it off when you’re not using it. • Microphones and other audio devices that connect via XLR cables can be plugged directly into the iXZ device and used without the mixer or amplifier.
