If we switched OFF the unit with the remote, to restart the system just press one button of the remote or connect the IPOD (with ignition and the radio ON). TROUBLESHOOTING The radio band on default is disturbed. Select an available frequency between those described in the FREQUENCY SELECTION on page 4. When the player is paused, an annoying noise appears on loudspeakers. Separate audio masses excluding the jumper on your IPLUGRDS TX circuit as described in the picture below. AUX IN Tune in to the FM 87.7 band frequency (default ), the title of the song playing will appear on the radio display. Now memorize the radio station to simplify future connections! ATTENTION: BE SURE THAT THE RDS FUNCTION ON THE RADIO IS ACTIVATED! ON OFF 6 5 4 3 2 1 87.7 mHz When the radio is turned off, the player does not switch off. Verify the correct connection of the PINK cable to the positive ignition. By changing the frequency trough AF function, the radio does not tune to the new frequency. Press the key where the station is memorized, some radios have low receptivity to the AF function. The audio has distortion or is too low. Activate the “SOUND CHECK on IPOD”, if the trouble it’s not solved, please download mp3Gain software from Paser web site (www.paser.it) to level audio of the file. For AUX IN profile, adjust the volume from the device. AUDIO QUALITY IPLUGRDS TX is designed to manage the audio files with an audio quality comparable to the CD quality. To obtain this, it is necessary to have high quality AUDIO files. For IPOD, the audio levels with which the IPLUGRDS TX gives the best results, respects the parameters chosen by APPLE, and in this way, perfect audio is obtained by recording your audio CD with iTunes. We suggest however to always SET ON the SOUND CHECK option. For songs of a different origin, the quality is still good, even if a difference of volume can be found between one file and another. In the case of bad quality files, distortion can be found (if the volume of recording was too high), or deep audio (if the volume of recording was too low) . iPod Music Photos Extra Settings Shuffle Songs ATTENTION: For new IPOD 6th generation Paser ensures the possibility to control it directly from the IPOD keypad only if the software version is PC 1.0.2 To verify the software version on your iPod: MENU SETTING INFO Pag 14 Pag 3 iPod > > > > > Volume limit BacklightTimer Audiobooks Compilations Sound Check > > > > On AUDIO QUALITY When using the AUX IN JACK input, audio quality will be regulated directly from the device. FREQUENCY SELECTION On default modulation frequency is fixed on 87.7 Mhz. IPLUGRDS TX has an internal selector which allows you to set up to 4 different frequencies. Use dip-switches 1 and 2 to choose a new frequency Depending on dip-switches different combinations you can set a different frequency as described in TAB 1. AUX IN WORKING MODE: IPLUGRDS TX allows you to connect the audio input trough the JACK 3.5mm supplied with the harness. The AUX IN profile selection must be done with the REMOTE. This compressor, if necessary, can be excluded by positioning pin 4 ON (see below). << ROOT >> SRC ON OFF 6 5 4 3 2 1 Pag 4 Pag 13 RDM RANDOM function shuffles the tracks, so you will listen to the songs not in the original order.
