High Definition (HD) features provide advanced picture quality and the benefits of Dolby* Digital audio decoding.

Exterity HD Receivers support, amongst other standards, the superior H.264 (MPEG-4 part 10) main and high profile level 4.1 video decoding. This enables an organisation to display video over their IP network that is rich, bright and engaging. This range of Exterity HD receivers also incorporates advanced High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI™) technology. Video feeds are supplied in pure-digital format with no compression, benefiting the organisation without compromising performance. For end-user convenience, units are available powered by an AC/DC power supply, power over ethernet (POE) or high power POE. All HD Receiver variants are available with optional mounting brackets, allowing units to be secured to walls or under furniture. HD Receivers add new scope to the Exterity network and work seamlessly with other Exterity products. The use of open standards allows the incorporation of third party products, such as digital signage.
