SmartLink Compared to other HomePlug adapters the IPTV PLC 650™ incorporates a SmartLink technique that transfers data across three electrical wires (line, neutral, ground) instead of only two (line, neutral). This improves performance and coverage for hard to reach outlets with up to 50 percent in high attenuation areas. When the third wire (ground) is not used the IPTV PLC 650™ will automatically switch to standard operation.
