2 Product Description The base station is a 12-slot CAT-iq base station designed for in/out-door deployment and is intended for providing CAT-iq coverage in a given in/out-door area. The base stations connect subscriber units, such as CAT-iq handsets, to the SIP network, based on SIP 2.0, the Session Initiation Protocol (RFC3261). This document is to describe the requirement of the base station and its subscriber handset. 2.1
