Spybot +AV: The release of Spybot +AV on May 21st will mark a big change in the Spybot product. We will soon be offering a product that not only provides detection and removal of adware and spyware but also full anti-virus protection. This is a very important milestone for us as we will now be able to provide a product that gives complete real time protection against all types malware. As well as the addition of an anti-virus engine we are now also offering more frequent updates for better protection. New advanced features have been added that will further improve security and useability. It goes without saying that performance has also been improved. This product has been a long time in development and the recent release of Spybot 2 was the first step towards its launch. The PRE allows you to work in an independent environment that is free from malicious threats. • Updated Boot CD Creator: Integrated tool for creating a Boot CD to allow you to do a 'clean boot' of an infected system. • Extensive white list for system files: This is now shared among other Spybot components to further increase scanning speed.
