The electrical cord cover and restraints help guide the cord over the board, eliminating potential snags. You can leave your iron plugged in at all times, even when the door is closed. A built-in safety switch disconnects all power when the board is returned to the upright position.

The Model A-42 is skillfully designed with a 90 degree left/right swivel mechanism providing access in confined areas like corners in the laundry room or kitchen. The industry standard 42-inch, ventilated steel spring activated swivel board is easy to raise and lower and includes a 4-inch height adjustment which automatically returns to its normal ironing board position every time the board is put away. The solid-state silent timer, premium sized hot iron storage compartment, built-in work light, storage shelves, electrical cord wrap, and on/off indicator light are the outstanding standard accessories that complete this ultimate ironing center. Swivel option contains springs allowing for easy raising and lowering of the board! The spring activated fold down board provides ease in lowering or raising the board. The board easily lowers by gently pulling the crossbar underneath the board. The tension weighted board also provides the same gently guided slow moving upward motion when lifting the board to return to its original position.
Allow for only the amount of cord required to iron by using the electrical cord wrap. You can then easily guide the iron and eliminate the excess cord from getting in your way.

The Model NE-342 is just what you need if an electrical outlet is easily accessible. Built with all the same quality materials as our electric models. The NE-342 features a premium sized hot iron storage compartment, storage shelf, and a rugged 42-inch ironing board made of ventilated steel.
Not only is it convenient to store your iron inside the unit, but the location keeps the iron out of children’s reach. There’s no reason to let your iron cool down, the insulated heat shield allows for immediate shelving.

Our metal ventilated board differentiates itself from the earlier built-in wooden boards. The traditional built-in wooden board only needed to be hard for the dry irons of the day. Today’s advanced steam irons are designed to project bursts of steam to penetrate deep into the fabric. Using them on a wooden ironing board causes condensation on the board and hot spots when ironing. Our metal ventilated board allows this steam to pass through the fabric keeping the surface drier and providing a more evenly heated ironing surface.
The Model NE-242 is a surface mounted, non-electrical unit. Perfect for areas where you want to iron, but the wall/surface can not be penetrated for recess mounting. You have fast access to your ironing board, without in-cabinet iron storage. This quality built model comes with a rugged 42-inch, ventilated steel ironing board.

Ordering a NE-242 with a white door, the cabinet has a white interior as well as a white exterior. This compliments many of the closet systems in the market today.
The swivel feature is available for this surface mount unit. The feature does not include a 4" height adjustment, but it creates the flexibility that may be necessary in confined areas.
