TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND TELEMATICS This laboratory consists of a main system and of different optional accessories: • ISDN Network mod. ISDN-N/EV is the basic system of the laboratory designed to realize the ISDN network. It includes analog sockets, digital proprietary and digital ISDN sockets. 1 piece of equipment is necessary. • Terminal adapter mod. ISDN-D/EV is a Data transmission Apparatus with Synchronous Asynchronous V24/RS232C serial protocol on ISDN net. It is provided with a 4-wire S0 interface. 2 pieces of equipment are suggested. • ISDN telephone mod. ISDN-T/EV is the Voice equipment for the transmission of voice information through an ISDN network. It is provided with a 4-wire S0 interface. 3 pieces of equipment are suggested. • Videoconferencing equipment mod. ISDN-V1/EV consists of software and hardware components that transform a Personal Computer (supplied on demand) into a complete videoconference unit operating in Windows. Two apparatuses are necessary to assemble a complete videoconferencing system. • System Terminal mod. ISDN-S/EV is the Voice equipment for the transmission of voice information through the digital network with 2-wire Upn proprietary interface. Complete with programming function, hands-free kit and display. 1 piece of equipment is suggested. 21C-E-ST -ISDN-0 This ISDN NETWORK TECHNOLOGY LABORATORY is designed to study and test Integrated Service Digital Networks (ISDN). These are digital communication networks enabling the integrated transmission of voice, images, texts and data. This laboratory consists of a main unit and of professional testing instruments for planning, realizing, analyzing and using applications on an ISDN network. International standards, transmission techniques, use and characteristics of the equipment, measurement techniques, network and connection systems are examined with the use of professional testing equipment. ST ISDN NETWORK TECHNOLOGY LABORATORY INTRODUCTION • Protocol Analyser mod. ISDN-P/EV is a testing portable equipment for coding and analyzing the ISDN protocol, and for displaying the information caught on a PC. 1 apparatus is suggested. • DECT Terminal mod. ISDN-W/EV is a voice wireless device for voice information transmission through DECT wireless network. It is provided with radio station connected with ISDN network mod. ISDN-N EV. 1 piece of equipment is suggested. It simulates the operation of a public ISDN network, besides enabling to carry out the links between terminals of different technology (analog and digital, voice / data / video). It also allows the connection with an included Public Switching Telephone Network (PSTN), besides integrating the digital and analog networks.
