WELCOME TO THE 2014 MERINGUR FOOTBALL NETBALL CLUB GOODS AND SERVICES AUCTION The committee of the Meringur Football Netball Club welcome you to this evening and thank you for your support. The club is currently in the process of continuing to establish its home training base at Merbein P-10 College. Part of this has been the installation of floodlighting of the netball courts and oval, which is close to completion. The second part is to establish a building on the site that both the football and netball sides can use as a base for training and also for future social functions. Nights like these don’t happen without the generous support of sponsors and suppliers. Many thanks to those who have supplied items for this years Auction. Item 39: The Chauffer Experience Our wonderful netball coordinator Emma Astill has kindly donated her time to give you “The Chauffer Experience”. Emma will drive you and your car (or mini bus if there are a few of you) to the away game of your choice, supply you with a nibbles platter and drinks for the return journey so you can enjoy a wonderful day at the footy and netball without the hassle of worrying about driving back home.
For something a little different..... Item 40: A Millewa Crop Tour Take a step back to the good old days when grain reps used to go on crop tours of the district, or when blokes used to just drive round to spy on their neighbours paddocks. This crop tour for four will see you picked up, driven around the Millewa to inspect the crops of this season, and include lunch at the Werrimull Hotel along with drinks throughout the day. Its a great day out.
Item 41: The Meringur Superbox Experience Want to feel like one of those corporate in the suites at the MCG or Etihad Stadium? Well this is as close as you’ll get at Meringur! This matchday experience for up to 8 people is valid for one home game and must be used before June 30 2015. You will be picked up from your home, taken to the Werrimull Pub for lunch, then down to Lake Cullulleraine to watch the mighty Roos in your own personal marquee, complete with drinks and snacks at half time. Then at the end of the day, you’ll be driven back home. What more could you want for a great day out at the footy!
