JKI Condensation Hood PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The Jeven JKI condensation hood has been designed for kitchens where a comfortable, productive and healthy indoor climate is required. The JKI canopy offers drip-free ventilation with first class working conditions. The exhaust of JKI has damper plates and measurement taps. JKI is equipped with special condensation baffles, which are easy to wash in a dishwasher.
LIGHTS AND FILTERS All Jeven condensation hoods are equipped with lights and condensation baffles.
MATERIAL The basic material of condensation hood is stainless steel (AISI 304).
ACCESSORIES Covering boards to enclose the area between the top of the hood and the ceiling.

JKI Condensation Hood POSITIONING The size of the canopy is determined by the size of the kitchen equipment. The overhang depends on the type of equipment and the distance between the hood and the equipment. For this type of equipment, the overhang should be at least 300 mm. The typical distance between the hood side and the floor is 2100-2200 mm. If the equipment has any doors that open upwards, make sure there is enough distance to the canopy.

JKI Condensation Hood EXHAUST AIR The recommended exhaust flow rate is max. 250 l/s per 315 mm spigot, duct velocity 3.2 m/s. The hoods are equipped with a suitable type of condensation baffles (pressure level 30-50 Pa). The recommended exhaust flow is 100 to 200 l/s per hood meter.
