Jackson Hole Mountain Resort JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION TITLE: CORBET’S WORKER DATE: CLASSIFICATION: 5 REPORTS TO: BA DINING MGR. DEPARTMENT: DINING FLSA STATUS: NON-EXEMPT GENERAL PURPOSE Provides great customer service while retailing limited food and beverage and retail products in our exclusive mountain-top snack bar, Corbet’s Cabin. This worker is a versatile, well-rounded customer service-oriented personality. The ideal individual is friendly and knowledgeable about Rendezvous Mountain, JHMR and the local area. This person must be self-motivated, responsible and trustworthy. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Daily operations include, but are not limited to:         Stocks the cabin with food and retail product via the Aerial Tramway Produces hot drinks and maintains the equipment used Produces a limited menu of food products Maintains dining area and retail space in attractive and orderly condition Removes waste and recycleable material Leaves work area clean and ready for next days’ business Cash handling and Cashiers’ Daily Report Carries water necessary for restaurant operation OTHER FUNCTIONS     Communicates stock needs to JHS Retail Manager Places Orders with SYSCO, Storeroom or BA Dining Manager Maintains a professional relationship with Ski Patrol in Mountain Station May shovel snow and ice as necessary to maintain safe operation -- Employees are held accountable for all duties of this job-- SUPERVISORY DUTIES Daily Cash Register Reporting Ordering, Inventory and Receiving Number of Direct Reports: 0-1 Number of Total Reports: 1 Approximate Operating Budget: $120,000 JOB QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY: Food Handling and Sanitation Cash Handling Organization and Cleanliness Service-oriented personality Mountaineering knowledge and understanding of local area helpful, but not required EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING: High School Diploma or Equivalent EXPERIENCE: Previous Cash-handling and food-handling experience preferred Previous Retail experience preferred Previous Cash Register Redacting preferred MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED: Waffle Iron, Coffee Brewer, Hot Chocolate Dispenser, Refrigerator, Microwave Oven, Heat & Serve kettle, Cash Register or PC-based POS, T-shirt Folder WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES: High-Altitude Alpine Environment, Extreme Weather and Cold Possible, Lifting up to 50 pounds Note: This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications associated with the job.
