Revised: 1/21/2015 Step by Step Instructions for mounting Bracket Kit to Planter 1. Mount the 400-2800Y1 Offset Bracket to the 4”x6” Horizontal Implement Bar using the provided 1/2”x6”x5” Square Bend U-bolts (380-1017). Placement of the Bracket should be centered on the 3”x3” Vertical Leg Support of the Implement. Do not fully tighten the ubolts to allow for adjustment in step 2. 2. Mount the bottom arm portion of the bracket with the provided 1/2”x3”x41/2” Square Bend U-bolt (380-1022) to the 3”x3” Vertical Leg support of the Implement. Once in place, tighten all u-bolts. 4”x6” Horiz Bar Step 1 3”x3” Vertical Leg Support Step 2 3. Mount the 400-2117Y2 DB PumpRight Bracket to the Offset Bracket (400-2800Y1) using the provided 1/2”X1-1/4” Bolts (300080104-5). There are additional mounting holes in the Offset Bracket for mounting the DB Bracket at different heights depending on the height of the PumpRight Model being used. More than likely, the DB Bracket will need to be installed at the lowest location on the Offset Bracket for head clearance of the PumpRight due to the Air Compressor Platform being overhead. Additional Mounting Holes (TYP) Step 3 (4 Bolts) 396-001490 - John Deere DB Planter PumpRight Bracket Kit Page 4 © 2014 SureFire Ag Systems, Inc.
