Every Emerson Big Blue touchscreen thermostat will accept an indoor or outdoor remote sensor. An Indoor Sensor (F145-1328) allows the thermostat to control the remote sensor reading only; or control the average of the thermostat and remote readings.

Optimal Comfort or Optimal Dehumidification are two ways to increase dehumidification in Cooling Mode. Both choices allow the system to overcool a maximum of three degrees, but at different rates. Optimal Comfort lowers room temp in small increments, 1/8° lower for each percent room humidity is above the dehumidification setpoint.

An Outdoor Sensor (F145-1378) allows the thermostat to display the outdoor temperature and, on Universal models, act as a fossil fuel outdoor thermostat to turn the pump Off when it is too cold to be efficient, or lock-out the Auxiliary heat when it is mild enough to use only the pump.
