Be it on a simple cash register or intelligent data POS system, the cash drawer is one of the most important peripherals of a POS system. After all, cash, checks, credit card slips and other checkout documents must be stored securely and in sufficient quantities. National, international and sectorspecific requirements and the different designs and functionalities of the individual items of POS furniture also have to be taken into account. The Wincor Nixdorf KA12-1 compact cash drawer is a low-priced entry-level cash drawer with a large capacity. The width of the banknote compartments can be adjusted variably to adapt them to different sizes of note (currencies). The coin tray can be removed to reveal an additional compartment for banknotes, checks and documents. The cash drawer opens outwards at the front under software control Connection concepts The KA12-1 compact cash drawer can be connected directly to the intended cash drawer port of the BEETLE system family and to POS printers with a cash drawer interface (RJ12).
