Although the 2 music channels can only play the sound from one source at a time they both have three sets of inputs (see 3 below for how to switch between each input connection). Each channel has two inputs for Line level signals (from CD players etc) and another for Phono level signals (from a turntable). The unit also features one dedicated microphone input. Care should be taken when connecting to the mixer that the correct connections are made. Connecting a CD player to a Phono input or a turntable to a Line input can cause damage to the unit. When connecting a turntable to the Phono input always use the signal earth cable from the turntable to the ground point on the mixer.
