The Kappa Series feature an innovative motor design that reduces distortion for cleaner bass at any listening level, along with a UniPivot (patent no. 6,002,780) edge-driven MMD (Metal Matrix Diaphragm ) tweeter for HF response to 25kHz while a high-quality, preconnected crossover simplifies the installation. ®

• New design featuring a matte black grille with real cloth mesh and elegant chrome finish inlay and logo • Ultra-wideband UHF soft dome tweeter for accurate music reproduction up to 30kHz on the 693.9i three-way model • Edge-driven MMD tweeters for all new Kappa multielement speakers have been tuned for maximum linearity and soft roll-off at 25kHz. Tweeter level can be adjusted by the simple touch of a button • New ceramic woofer motor with a much longer voice coil for drastically reduced distortion at high listening levels (up to 15dB less!), resulting in a much tighter and better sounding bass • Separate crossover network dongles with easily accessible tweeter-level control switch on all models • High-quality screw-down terminals on all models connect perfectly with all kinds of speaker wires • 2 Ohm design, combined with proprietary PlusOne lightweight, woven-glass-fiber woofer cones, makes these Kappa speakers extremely efficient and also ensures full compatibility with standard head units ®
