The small temperature probes type 7040 / 7140 are mainly used for the measuring of plastics processing machinery temperatures, pipe conduit temperatures, container temperatures, boiler temperatures etc. The thimble facilitates the change of probes when cables and containers are filled. These probes are available with one or two thermocouples / resistances. A compression spring is used as stretch equalizer. Maximum temperature is 400° C.
