KB 150150 Disk space problems when using the IDENTIKEY Authentication Server Maintenance Wizard to export large amounts of audit data. Page 1 of 2 Problem symptoms / details. While using the IAS Maintenance Wizard everything is logged in the ikconfigwizardgui.trace file. When exporting audit data from the database, not only the export file will grow, but the trace file will grow even faster than the export file. Problem Solution. Export smaller amounts of data at a time (during export, you can specify the timeperiod for which you want to export the audit data) and delete the ikconfigwizardgui.trace after every export. If you want to archive and clean up the audit database: • Back-up the audit database. To back up only the audit data, use the pg_dump utility with the –t option to backup only the selected tables. Eg: pg_dump. -f "c:\BU_SQL_srvr2" -Fc -Z9 -U digipass -t vdsaudit* -v postgres • Then delete the Audit records using https://www.vasco.com/images/kb_150111.pdf (when using MSSQL Database) or https://www.vasco.com/images/kb_150078.pdf (when using PostgreSQL Database) Or Applies to: IAS 3.8 KB 150150– 1/07/2015  2015 VASCO Data Security.
