KESO MOZY eco 7.2.2
Operating mode and its LED characteristics Power On mode: LED flashes green / red, after 5 seconds the MOZY eco goes into the initialisation mode. Initialisation: In initialisation the LED shines yellow, as long as the motor is turning. Learning mode: The learning mode is activated by the setting of jumper J7 and by the MOZY eco push button being held down. During the learning process, the LED flashes green. When the motor moves from stop to stop, the LED lights up yellow. If after the learning process. jumper J7 is not removed, the LED flashes red, when the door is closed and green when the door is open. The MOZY eco does not perform a function in this mode. If no bolt contact is detected during the learning mode, the MOZY eco automatically emits a beeping tone. Normal operation: If the door is locked the LED lights up red. If the door is unlocked, the LED lights up green. Repeat attempt mode: The MOZY eco attempts to close the door and lights up and flashing yellow during the breaks between the attempts. If the MOZY eco starts a new attempt, it flashes on yellow. Error mode: LED changes the colours dark / green / red / yellow, in addition a beeping tone is emitted. By the opening of the door the error can be reset.

KESO MOZY eco 7.3
Putting into operation The MOZY eco must not by any means be fitted or connected when carrying current. Only when all of the connections and fitting steps which have been stipulated in the operating instructions have been followed and executed may the MOZY eco be put into operation.
7.3.1 Determining the cylinder length The selection of the correct cylinder length is to be determined. The cylinder may protrude max. 5 mm (see Fig. I). If the cylinder is longer, the magnet / Hall sensor will be damaged. If necessary, use a 5 mm distance plate Art. No.170.453.0001 or 10 mm distance plate Art. No.170.453.0002. Warning! During fitting of the cylinder it is to be ensured that the inside of the cylinder is well oiled with KESO spray (Art. No.: G.990/75). The mechanical key must be able to actuate the lock without any difficulty. The lock and the cylinder must not show any notable resistance.
7.3.2 Preparing cable routing Variant 1 (Fig. L, var. 2) The countersinking for the case of the lock must ensure that the cables which are routed behind the case of the lock can be inserted without pressure marks. Variant 2 (Fig. L, Var. 1) In the case of an existing door it is easiest, to drill a 9 mm hole through it into which the main cable (see the figure on page 15) can be pulled. Important! Cables are installed behind the case of the lock! In the case of the cable outlet drill hole (Fig. C) observe the hole spacing! Pull in cable as in Fig. N, heat-shrinkable sleeve flush with the door, allow only wires and plugs to protrude.
7.3.3
Pilot-drilling for door contact and laying of cables The door contact is built into the door and the door frame with reference to the sensing distance, the maximum sensing distance X1 = 10 mm in wood, coloured metal and non-metal see Fig. J! The best fitting possibility is the outermost slewing position on the door. Pilot-drill a hole, with a diameter of 8 mm and a depth of 30 mm, for the magnet and the switch (see Fig. J). Variant 1 / 2 (Fig. L, var. 1 and var. 2) There are two possible places for fitting the door contact, with both fitting types it is to be ensured that they are fitted at the outermost point of the door.

Power pack Place the power pack holder (Art. No. V.000/52/30) near a socket on the wall and set the enclosed dowels. Then fix the holder in place with the help of the screws (Art. No.V.000/52/20). The power pack can now be clipped onto the holder (see Fig. L). Strip the insulation off the three-pole mains cable (approx. 3 cm) and screw on the plug usual in the respective country. The blue wire is the directly earthed conductor "N", the brown wire is the "L" phase and yellow/green wire is the protective earth conductor. Connect the plug in that way. Consult a specialist electrician. Warning ! - The power pack must be fitted at a protected place in the indoor area, so that it cannot be accessible to children and unauthorised persons. - Warning! Do not open the power pack! Æ Electrocution! - Warning! There is no protection from splash water and moisture condensation. It leads to danger situations resulting from critical touch currents and fire hazards. - Warning! Do not confuse the wire colours Æ danger of short circuit! Damage to the MOZY eco electronics
7.3.5
Cable transition During fitting care is to be taken to ensure that, with the door opened, the cable is not strained and is not kinked at the inlets and outlets (Caution - wire breakage!) The cable must be able to follow the movement of the door perfectly. Attach the cable transition only on the sabotageproof side of the door. Two fitting variants are usual (see Fig. L). For both cable crossovers fasten the cable transition only after the main cable has been pulled through
7.3.6 Installing and preparing the main cable The main cable must not be kinked over sharp edges. When installing the main cable take care to ensure that no sharp edges can damage the cable, the cable sheath must be flush with the door (Fig. N). Pull the main cable from the MOZY eco through the door and the cable transition as far as the place where the power pack is located. If the cable is to long, cut off the rest. Carefully strip the cable sheath, the shield and individual wires and crimp with wire end ferrules for 0.25 mm² and pincers. Braid the shield of the main cable and insulate with heat-shrinkable sleeve and likewise crimp at the end with a wire end ferrule.

Fitting of MOZY eco Step 1; Fig. A Place the MOZY eco on the cylinder and determine the alignment exactly. The fastening holes are to be identification marked with a recording instrument. Step 2; Fig. B Once the hole spacing has been determined, the MOZY eco is removed and the marked fastening holes are drilled (see drawing). Caution: do not damage main cable during drilling! Step 3; Fig. C Carefully pull the main cable and the additional sensor cables such as door contact, bolt contact carefully through the slot provided in the MOZY eco base plate. Step 4; Fig. D Fasten the MOZY eco with the screws also supplied. Once again test the ease of running characteristics of the MOZY eco with the key. The MOZY eco turning knob must not allow itself to be turned by hand in an energy-consuming way! Step 5; Fig. E -Route the sensor cables under the motor, screw them on to the screw terminal X6 correctly. The magnet contact must be measured with a digital multimeter (ohm). It is necessary to find the switch contact. (According to Fig. J cables 1 + 4) -Assignment of X6 screw terminal: terminal 1 Plus; Terminal 2 ext. bolt contact (BC) and terminal 3 door contact (DC) -Plug the MOZY eco main cable into the X5 plug.
