Keurig FAQ (K37809) Q: Where is the coffee & My K-Cup® located? A: The My K-Cup® cartridge is packed in the B79 brewer box and the other coffee/accessories are packed/located/resting on top of the brewer box.
Q: What is the plastic recycle number on the cup? A: The plastic tub of the K-Cup® pack is not recyclable, so does not have plastics number.
Q: How long does it take to brew? A: Heats and brews in fewer than a minute.
Q: How long does it take for the water to be heated between brews? A: Approximately 15 seconds to reheat water between brews
Q: How does the K-Cup® pack work? A: An air-tight seal locks in freshness and flavor. Pressurized water is delivered at the ideal temperature for the perfect brew. K-Cup® packs contain the ideal grind and measure of fresh 100% Arabica Beans. An internal filter assures superior results. Each cup is brewed right inside the K-Cup® pack so it’s always perfect.
Q) Are the K-Cup® packs reusable? A) Reusing K-Cup®packs will not deliver optimal taste and is not recommended.
Q) Where can the filters be purchased? A) The customer will have to go to www.keurig.com to purchase filters.
Q) Are the K-Cup® packs Kosher? A) Most of our K-Cup® packs are also certified Kosher Pareve. The only exceptions are our hot cocoa K-Cup® packs, which are certified Kosher-Dairy, and Cafe Escapes® K-Cup® packs which are not Kosher certified.
Q) Are the products Gluten Free? A) Yes.
Q) Can you use Styrofoam cups? A) Yes, you can.
Q) Are you selling the clear glass mugs shown during presentation? A) No, they are props.
Q) Can I brew into a travel mug? A) Yes, to brew into a travel mug, simply remove the Drip Tray Assembly and place the travel mug on the Drip Tray Base.
Q) Can I put/use my own loose Tea or Tea Bag? A) No.
Q) Can I use it for Cappuccino? A) No.
Q) What is the shelf life of the coffee? A) Coffee is good for 6 months.
Q)Does the coffee products have any sweeteners added? A) No.
Q) Do I have to set the clock? A) No, setting the clock is optional. When the clock is set, the time will appear in the LCD Control Center. NOTE: You must set the clock if you will be using the Auto On/Off Time programming feature.
Q) Can you stop the brewing process at any point if needed? A) Yes, if you need to stop the brewing after the process has started, press the Power Button to turn the Brewer OFF. The flow of coffee or tea will stop, the heating element will shut off and the green light illuminating the Power Button will disappear. **NOTE: You may get less coffee or tea in your cup during your next brew. We recommend that you perform a cleansing brew with water only after a terminated brew. Then your NEXT brew will be the volume you have selected.**
Q) Is this a quiet brew?
A) Yes
Q) Does the hot water button make the water hot enough for tea? A) Yes.
NOTE: Water filter cartridge lasts for two months or 60 tank refills
Q) How do I control the strength of coffee? A) Less water the stronger the coffee, the more water the weaker the coffee. On panel choose 4oz, 6oz, 8oz, 10oz, & 12oz.
