Keyboard Mounting Kit Installation Instructions Use these instructions to install the keyboard and adjustable twin-ball RAM® mounting assemblies for the fixed or vehicle mount computer. The keyboard mounting kit contains the following items. Keyboard Mounting Kit Contents Description RAM mount #8-32 x 1/2 inch screws #8 fender washers Keyboard Mounting Kit Installation Instructions Part Number Quantity 800-414-003 803-098-001 931-017-002 1 8 4 1 If your mounting situation requires you to use nuts and bolts to install the RAM mount, you must supply them yourself. Note: The screws supplied in this kit have preapplied threadlocker. Lockwashers or threadlocker are required on any screws or bolts you supply to make sure that the RAM mount does not vibrate loose. To mount the keyboard to a surface 1 Attach the RAM mount to the underside of the keyboard with four #8-32 x 1/2 inch screws and four #8 fender washers. (4 places) (4 places) 2 Attach the RAM mount to a solid surface with the four remaining #8-32 x 1/2 inch screws. 3 Tighten all screws to 9-10 in/lbs torque to make sure the RAM mount is secure.
