Keysight Technologies Cellular Network Passive Probe Interface Cards
Modern telecommunications networks typically consist of a mixture of physical transmission technologies. For example a UMTS network may use SONET/SDH framed data on links near the radio interface but Ethernet framed data on links at the network core. Within the choice of Ethernet, a network operator can choose optical or electrical interface and these themselves can run at different speeds or conform to different physical standards. Keysight’s Converged Network Acquisition Cards (CNACs) are designed to provide a lexible architecture that supports different physical interfaces and framing types, and can also support sophisticated packet iltering engines.
Key Characteristics – 4 ports per interface card. – Use of Small Form Pluggable (SFP/SFP+) optics. This allows different standards (e.g. electrical and optical) to be accommodated in a straightforward way. – Support for automatic active / standby protection

Card is managed over a standard Ethernet interface from an external host, providing a scalable, lexible and eficient packet distribution mechanism. – Low power consumption (<25W). – Designed to it within a standard PCI-X or PCIe environment. – Support for HDLC, ATM or 1G Ethernet on a single interface card
