IMPORTANCE SAFEGUARDS When using electrical appliances, especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following: READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING KEEP AWAY FROM WATER DANGERAs with most electrical appliances, electrical parts are electrically live even when the switch is off. To reduce the risk of death by electric shock: Always unplug this appliance immediately after using. 1. Do not place or store this appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink. 2. Do not use this appliance while bathing. 3. Do not place or drip this appliance into water or other liquid. 4. If this appliance falls into water, “unplug it” immediately. Do not reach into water. WARNING – To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fire, or injury to persons: 1. An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in. 2. Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by, on, or near children or invalids. 3. Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer. 4. Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, or if it has been damaged, or dropped it into water. Return the appliance to a service centre for examination and repair. 5. 12. Be sure dual-voltage selector is in correct voltage position before operating. Before plugging in, read the information about dual voltage contained in the instruction section of this manual. 13. This applince was set at the factory to operate at 230V. Refer to Operating Instructions section of this manual for conversion top 115 V operation or the equivalent. The blank are to be filled in with the appropriate voltage information. 14. This hair dryer is intended for household use. If overheating should occur, the built-in thermostat will automatically shut off the heat. When this happens, unplug this hair dryer and let it cool for at least 10 minutes. Then plug it back in and use it normally. Should the unit continue to overheat, return it to the nearest authorized service facility for repair. 15. Never connect the plug before setting the voltage selector switch to the correct voltage setting. 16. To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another high wattage appliance on the same circuit. 17. When the hairdryer is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the hairdryer is switched off. 18. For additional protection the installation of a residual current device(RCD) with a rated operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice. 19. Warning: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water. 20. The appliance is not intended for use by children or other persons without assistance or supervision if their physical, sensory or mental capabilities prevent them from using it safely. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

FUNCTION This travel electrical hair dryer is designed for drying and styling certain sections of your hair.

OPERATING INSTRUCTION Prior to first use, be sure that the appliance is adjusted to the proper voltage setting (figure 1 show setting 115V. Figure 2 show setting 230V.) Warning: Allow to be plugged only after the Dual Voltage Selector is adjusted to the correct voltage setting. ■

After plugging, enable you to select the following function: 600W with gentle and warm air flow for easy styling. 1200W with high temperature and strong air flow for drying long hair. After use, the hair dryer should be switched off and unplugged.
