Description This kit supplies the necessary parts that will allow you to install one 3/8” diameter liquid color delivery tube to feed liquid color directly into the weigh bin. The delivery tube will come into the blender on the left-hand side (when looking at the blender from the front) directly above the load-cell assembly. This kit does not include tubing, liquid color pump itself, or any electrical components to control an external pump. Instructions DISCONNECT AIR AND POWER TO BLENDER BEFORE BEGINNING. 1. Remove door assembly and weigh bin from blender. 2. Remove load-cell cover from blender. •
Remove (2) Screws and star washers fastening cover to load-cell and remove cover. Save the hardware for reinstallation.

BE CAREFUL NOT TO TOUCH EXPOSED LOAD CELL TO AVOID POSSIBLE DAMAGE TO IT.
3. Drill 11/16” [17.5mm] diameter hole in frame. •
On the load-cell side of the frame, measure and mark the hole location as shown on the drawing on the next page. For the vertical position, ideally you should measure from the bottom up, but if that is not possible, then measure from the bend line down. It is important that you locate the hole as accurately as possible as this ensures that when installed the brass locknut does not interfere with the top of pellet deflector baffle on the inside of the frame. See drawing for step 4 to clarify.

Drill an Ø11/16” [Ø17.5mm] hole at this spot. This is a snug clearance hole for the compression fitting to fit through. A Ø3/4” [Ø18 or 19mm] drill bit could also be used if an Ø11/16” or [Ø17.5mm] bit is not available.

4. Install compression fitting and locknut as shown.

5. Install modified load-cell cover supplied with kit. •
Use the hardware removed in step 2 to install the new load-cell cover supplied with kit. Tighten the screws until snug.

DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE SCREWS AS IT MAY ELASTICALLY DEFORM THE LOAD-CELL BRACKET AND AFFECT THE OPERATION OF THE LOADCELL.

The new load cell cover is notched in the top so as not to interfere with the compression fitting.
6. Reinstall weigh bin and door.
See the next page for instructions on correctly installing a liquid color delivery tube from an external pump to feed into the weigh bin.

Installing a Liquid Color Delivery Tube 1. Loosen outside nut on compression fitting. 2. Slide Ø3/8” [9.5mm] tubing through fitting until it sticks out approximately 1-1/2” [38mm] from the end of the fitting. If the tubing wants to curl, make sure that it curls straight down (and not to the left or right) so as not to interfere with the operation of the natural or color valves. The tubing runs between the standard natural and color valves, that when actuated, extend below the tube itself.

3. Tighten outside nut on compression fitting.
