1. Important: please use all supplied bolts and parts and read all instructions carefully before beginning this installation. The majority of questions you may have can be answered within the text, and proper installation will ensure safe and secure travel. Now, begin the installation. This bracket kit utilizes the existing tow ring, brush guard and bumper mounts as mounting points. The braces are sandwiched between the tow rings, brush guard and bumper. To start, the front brush guard must be removed. Do this by pulling the brush guard locking pins and laying the brush guard down so that the upper mounting bolts are exposed. Remove the mounting bolts and the brush guard. 2. From this point, work on one side at a time. This will help hold everything in alignment. Unbolt a tow ring assembly from one side and secure the appropriate brace between the tow ring assembly and the bumper. Bolt through the tow ring mount, brace and bumper using the supplied ½” x 2 ½” bolts, and lock washers. Use the stock shoulder nuts. 3. Follow the same procedure for the remaining side. 4. Bolt the brush guard back into place using the original bolts. 5. Align the braces and torque all bolts to the specifications below. 6. Mount the tow bar according to the manufacturer's specifications.
