Important: please use all supplied bolts and parts and read all instructions carefully before beginning this installation. The majority of questions you may have can be answered within the text, and proper installation will ensure safe and secure travel. Now, begin the installation. This bracket kit uses the existing front subframe and mounting bolts as mounting points. Remove the front air dam if one is present. 2. Loosen the two front subframe mounting bolts on each side. Slip the braces between the sub frame and the unibody on each side as illustrated, then bolt through the front hole in the bottom plate on each side using the provided bolts. Use a ½" x 3" bolt and flat washer on the passenger side and check for clearance. Use a ½" x 2½" bolt and a ½" plate washer as a backup on the drivers side. 3. Align the braces and mount the tow bar according to the manufacturer’s instructions. 4. Once aligned and tightened in place, use the braces as templates to drill ½" holes through the subframe on each side. Bolt through the rear brace holes using the provided ½" x 2½" bolts, plate washers, lock washers and nuts. 5. Tighten all bolts to the torque specifications below. If an air dam was removed, trim to fit and install.
