KNOX FREESTANDING TUB FAUCET INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Before you begin, read the installation instructions below. Observe all local plumbing and building codes. For the following installation instructions for your new freestanding tub faucet it is assumed that the water supply lines are in place underneath the floor and are directly accessible for faucet installation. 3" 7-7/8" Unpack and inspect faucet for any shipping damages and ensure that none of the required pieces are missing. If you find any damages, do not install. Contact Customer Service at 1-866-855-2284. If you need assistance while installing your new freestanding tub faucet, call our Customer Service number. 36" We recommend consulting a professional if you are unfamiliar with installing bathroom fixtures and plumbing. Signature Hardware accepts no liability for any damages to the floor, walls, plumbing or personal injury during installation. 1"-2" Shut off the water supply lines at the tub where the new faucet is being installed. TOOLS AND MATERIALS: Level 1/2" 1/2" Teflon Tape Drill Pencil 6mm Hex Wrench (provided) Goggles 1" 2.5mm Hex Wrench (provided) Adjustable Wrench Knox Freestanding Tub Faucet Installation Instructions 1 1. Use the inlet base to mark the mounting hole locations. Drill mounting holes in the 2 holes on the floor. Note: The base is marked to indicate the inlets for hot and cold water. 2. Attach 4 expansion bolts to the inlet base. Tighten with hex nut to secure. Hex Nut Protective Cover 3" 3" Inlet Base Spring Washer Flat Washer Mounting Hole Expansion Bolt 3. Insert the expansion bolts into the mounting holes. Adjust the top surface of the inlet base to a level position and tighten hex nuts. Note: The cold water inlet should be facing the bathtub. 4. Wrap the connections with teflon tape and connect the inlet base to the hot and cold water supply pipes. Remove the protective cover and insert a plug into the base outlet and attach the base flange with counter bore facing upward. Turn on the water supply to test the water pressure and ensure the each connection is tight (no water should be leaking). 6. Unthread the locking screw to remove the flange and plug. Cold Water Inlet Hot Water Inlet 7. Place on protective cover back on the base and complete flooring installation. Note: The finished floor should be level or slightly higher than the top of the protective cover. 8. Remove the protective cover from the inner pipe on the faucet body. Slide the escutcheon onto the faucet body and secure it to the faucet flange with locking screws. Attach the faucet flange to the base with locking screws. Tighten with a hex wrench to secure. Slide the escutcheon down the faucet body to the finished floor. 10. Connect hand shower and faucet body with hand shower hose. BS立柱浴缸龙头 11. When the faucet is installed turn on the water supply, check to make sure that all connections are tight and that the hot and cold supplies are working correctly. 12. Divert the water to the hand shower and allow the water to flow through the hose for approximately 60 seconds. Hot Cold Knox Freestanding Tub Faucet Installation Instructions 4
