KNOX WATERFALL TUB SPOUT WITH HAND SHOWER INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Before installing, read entire Installation Instructions. Observe all local building and safety codes. Unpack and inspect the product for any shipping damages. If you find damages, do not install. Contact Customer Service at 1.866.855.2284. INSTALLATION DIMENSIONS: 9-1/4" 5-3/4"±1/2" 1/2" Female IPS 1/2" Female IPS 7-3/4" TOOLS AND MATERIALS: Teflon Tape Pencil Phillips Screwdriver 3mm Wrench 12mm Wrench Level Ruler Knox Waterfall Tub Spout with Hand Shower Installation Instructions 1 INSTALLATION: 5-3/4"±1/2" Hot Water Pipe Joint Cold Water Faucet Body Offset M6 Screw connector Leveling Plate M4 Screw 1. Install hot and cold 1/2" female IPS water supplies in the wall with a 5-3/4" distance between them. 2. Unscrew the M4 screws and loosen the M6 screws from the faucet body. Remove the leveling plate and offset connectors. 3. Measure the thread depth of the pipe joints with your ruler. Your fittings should be flush with the finished wall. 4. Wrap the offset connectors with teflon tape. 12mm Wrench 5. Place the offset connectors through the leveling plate and screw them into the pipe joints. Tighten slightly wtih the 12mm hex wrench. 6a. Adjust the offset connectors with the 12mm hex wrench until the plate is level. Knox Waterfall Tub Spout with Hand Shower Installation Instructions 2 Level 6b. Use your level to ensure the plate is properly aligned. 7. Tighten the inlet thread joint with the 12mm hex wrench. 8. Install the faucet body on the offset connectors. 9. Tighten the M6 screws with the 3mm hex wrench. Diverter Knob 10. Run water to ensure the spout was installed properly, no water should be leaking. Turn the diverter knob counter-clockwise to divert the water to the tub spout spout. 11. Turn the diverter knob clockwise to divert the water to the hand shower. Knox Waterfall Tub Spout with Hand Shower Installation Instructions 3 CLEANING: If flow rate is low or temperature control seems imprecise, the thermostatic cartridge filter may be blocked. Shut off the main water supply before cleaning the filter. Screw Thermostatic Cartridge Locking Nut Stop Collar Cap Thermostatic Handwheel Filter Net 1. Use a pointed tool to remove the screw cap. Remove the screw, thermostatic handwheel, top collar, and locking nut to remove the thermostatic cartridge. Cover Plate 2. Clean the filter with a brush and vinegar. Slot 3. Re-install the thermostatic cartridge, and secure the locking nut and the stop collar. 4. Fit the thermostatic handwheel onto the cartridge, tighten the screw and replace the decorative cap.
