KUMO CP QA NAB 2011
1. What is the connection between the KUMO router and the KUMO CP? A standard Ethernet cable is all that is needed. An Ethernet switch will be needed for multiple KUMO routers and/or KUMO CP’s.
2. How many KUMO routers can be controlled from a KUMO Control Panel? Each KUMO CP can control up to 4 KUMO routers. The KUMO routers can be either 1616 or 1604 or any combination of the two.

3. Can more than one KUMO router be controlled at one time from the KUMO CP? No, KUMO routers cannot be “ganged” together. Only one KUMO router can be controlled at one time from the KUMO CP.
4. Once I have a KUMO CP do I need to hook to a network to control the KUMO router? There are a number of ways to install and connect the KUMO CP and KUMO routers. • A basic KUMO routing system (Zero configuration, just plug, power, and play.) 1 KUMO CP Control Panel connected to a KUMO router will auto-discover each other so you're up and running quickly. Or use a computer and browser to configure multiple routers and control panels. Just plug all the pieces into an Ethernet switch, power them up and configure easily with a computer browser.

• A KUMO LAN-only System (Use TCP/IP to configure routers and devices.) Computer control only: an unlimited number of KUMOs can be configured, networked, and controlled by web browser using industry standard TCP/IP networking over a LAN.
