Centralized Access Management
AccessIT
Centralized Remote Access Management of all IT Assets
• Simplify the daily workload of IT staff • Increase IT efficiency - assign multiple access protocols to same target • Safeguard security by centrally managing all remote access activity • Avoid vendor lock-in with open management system • Enforce uniformity - IT staff all work with same interface • Increase IT productivity with seamless, one-click remote access • Green solution – “recycle” analog KVM switches • Minimize server down-time by KVM IP remote support • For businesses with up to 250 servers and IT devices
Solving the need to manage remote access.
Providing the Real Needs of IT
In today’s complex corporate IT environments, IT managers are charged with managing remote server rooms and distributed IT assets at a “clicks’ length” so that every problem is dealt in real- time, or even better, prevented through on-going maintenance. This calls for a secure, simple yet cost-effective solution to manage the ever-growing list of remote access connections and protocols used by the IT administrator and his staff.
AccessIT is a unique open platform system that enables easy configuration of services to seamlessly access installed 3rd party PDUs, Serial console servers and KVM switches. This cost-effective approach saves on IT expenditure by continuing to reap past investment and prevent the dreaded vendor lock-in. It also allows the business to buy according to the Real Needs of their IT.
Enhancing the level of IT service
AccessIT is a secure web-based, centralized remote access management solution that enhances IT efficiency and productivity in organizations. AccessIT consolidates all remote access services into a single session, thus providing the IT staff with critical on-demand remote access to all IT assets, regardless of their physical location.
AccessIT supports industry-leading, in-band and out-of-band remote access services. These include: RDP, VNC, VMWare, SSH, Telnet, HP iLO, KVM IP, Serial console servers, remote Power and any proprietary web-based or customized applications. AccessIT operates in both Windows/I.E. and Linux/Firefox environments.

Unique Real Needs Approach Makes so much Sense, IT Saves Dollars
Minicom offers a unique approach & sales proposition to those looking to upgrade their KVM out-of-band capabilities by adding KVM remote access to their analog switches: KVM.net® II and the IP gateways, for centralized management and IP enablement respectively, are the only devices of their kind to offer 3rd party support of your existing KVM infrastructure.
SERIAL
The Minicom Real Needs approach frees you to “pay as you grow” - The fact is that 60% of KVM switches in your server rooms are analog-based and from different manufacturers. Minicom’s Real Needs approach rescues this situation, safeguarding your investment by adding on a KVM IP gateway to the active 3rd party analog KVM switch system. Minicom’s Real Needs approach is so cost-effective that it saves you half the price of competing systems because other KVM switch manufacturers pressure you “to throw everything out” and replace your entire KVM installation.
