Model Number: 2570-xxxx RF Engineering and Custom Build L-band Dual Redundant Hot-swap Amplifier with variable gain and slope compensation Front view of Model 2570 This amplifier unit contains dual redundant hot-swap L-band variable gain amplifier modules, housed in a compact 1U high 19” rack mountable shelf. Operating over the 850-2150MHz frequency range, with up to 36 dB gain and up to 8 dB positive slope compensation. The unit can be run in Manual Rear view of Model 2570 mode using front panel push buttons to switch from main to standby, and Auto mode where it will automatically switch to the stand-by amplifier in the event of the m a in am pl if ie r f a il in g . Automatic changeover from the Main to the Standby is based on current monitoring of both amplifiers. Remote control and monitoring is done via an RJ45 Ethernet port, SNMP and Web browser interface (WBI). The stand-by amplifier is cold stand-by in normal operation but can be set to hot standby. The unit also benefits from dual redundant hot-swap power supplies for reliability in service. This unit is available in a range of connector types and impedances (model numbers will vary).
