(1.83 m) Product Overview: The ¼ in. to FEMALE XLR Cable provides a balanced connection between the output of a 3rd part device to the input of the WC-WCAP3. The 3rd party device is a piece of equipment such as a recording device, DSP, broadcast equipment, etc. The cable is 6 ft. in length suitable for most in rack scenarios. Balanced audio cables allow for reduced EM (electromagnetic) and RF (radio frequency) noise that can often be heard in the audio where non-balanced cables are used. Additionally, unlike standard unbalanced RCA interconnect cables that utilize their braid (ground) as a signal return, balanced cables have a separate braided shield to provide additional resistance to external interference. This also helps in avoiding ground loop issues.
