Archive, Exchange, Secure, BackUp! The LaCie PocketDrive CD-RW can read and write CDRs (recordable discs) as well as CDRWs (rewritable discs). Once written, CDR media can be read in any MultiRead CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, DVD-RAM, and CD-Audio devices, and archived data cannot be erased for safe keeping. Used with the LaCie CDRW media, the PocketDrive also provides an ideal and cost effective way for day-to-day storage where you can write, read, erase, rewrite each CDRW more than 1000 times.
