Laptop Requirements for SES Software 15.4 General Computer Requirements Required Recommended Operating Systems Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 7 (SP1) Processor Pentium IV or higher Core i7, multi-core Platform 32-bit 64-bit Memory 2 to 4 GB (32-bit platform) 8 to 12 GB (64-bit platform) Video adaptor High-resolution display (1280x1024 pixels minimum), DirectX9-capable Disk space 900 MB required by the installer USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 port Software protection USB 1.1, USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 port dongle port Software protection dongle supports both 32-bit and 64-bit platforms Special Laptop Requirements The following requirements should be met in order to be able to install and run SES Software1 on a laptop:  Ensure that you have access to a local administrator account with a password. An administrative user log-in is required for installing the software protection key driver and the software itself.  You may use the software under the same administrative log-in session in which the software was installed. However, if you prefer to use the software under a non-administrative account (e.g., standard user), make sure that all of the default settings for UAC are turned on.  The laptop should have USB 1.1, 2.0, or 3.0 ports2. A USB port will be used to attach the software protection key (dongle) in order to enable the use of the professional version of SES Software applications. 1 SES Software will be offered on a USB 3.0 16 GB data drive as compliments from SES. 2 Older laptops may have USB 1.0 ports. It is not guaranteed that the software protection key will work with USB 1.0 ports.
