It accepts HDMI input with a separate Toslink or analog audio and scales the video and embeds the audio to the HDMI output. The HDMI output can be scaled to a number of selectable resolutions determined by the user. In addition to the scaling function, the LB-HDMI-SCL provides output picture adjustment on contrast, brightness, hue, saturation, sharpness, RGB level and scan size. SCL units are ideal for high use applications such as conference rooms, class rooms and in the demanding environment of the surgical operating room, it is ideal for using between an incompatible HDMI source and display by changing the picture resolution and frame rate of the HDMI source to match the native resolution of the monitor. The LB-HDMI-SCL Auto-scaling Receiver supports HDMI, Optical and HDBaseT inputs making it one of the most versatile units on the market today. The LB-HDMI-SCL is easily integrated into a facility and can be rapidly configured by any user. APPLICATION DIAGRAM This example application diagram illustrates how the LB-HDMI-SCL can be used as the auto-scaling reciever for an LCD panel connected to a video routing system such as the LBS 3232 modular switch. This application is illustrating how any resolution that a user may rout from any device such as media player, DVD player, computer or laptop will be automatically scaled to the chosen resolution for the display. The router in this example is accepting DVI or HDMI inputs and has HDBaseT outputs that can tramsmit up to 70m over CAT 5e/6 cable to the LB-HDMIR-SCL HDBaseT auto-scaling receiver. The user can select from a wide variety of output resolutions from the On Screen Display (OSD) menu including both High Definition (HD) or Standard Definition (SD) resolutions depending upon the capability of the connected display or other type of connected equipment such as video recorders or video conferencing codecs. Using the LB-HDMI-SCL product allows the user or integrator to feel safe that any input device in the system will be compatible with the destination display or other destination hardware.
