LBO-DVI Link Bridge™ Fiber Optic DVI Transmission Systems DVI Features 1-Way • Extend DVI Signals up to 400 meters Over 1 SC Multimode Fiber • Supports Full HDTV Video Resolutions up to 720p/1080i/1080p60 • Fully Uncompressed Video Provides Zero Loss of Quality • Supports True DDC/EDID/HDCP Transmission Over Fiber • Compatible with our LBO Series Products The LBO-DVI Series is a high performance, low cost, miniature, directly pluggable Link Bridge™ Fiber Optic DVI Transmission System. It supports transmission of one uni-directional DVI video signal, together with DDC/EDID, over a single multimode fiber connection. This unique system can be used to extend your digital flat panel display up to 400 meters from the source. It supports HDTV resolutions of up to 720p/1080i/1080p60, and computer resolutions up to WUXGA (1920x1200 @ 60Hz). No user adjustment is required for the LBO-DVI system due to the use of advanced digital fiber optic transmission technology that incorporates no compression or bit reduction of any kind. Thumb screws are designed in the rear for convenient installation in tight spaces. In addition, the LBO-DVI transmitter (or receiver) is compatible with any of our other LBO series receivers (or transmitters). This powerful combination enables simultaneous fiber transmission and signal conversion of any video type (HD-SDI, HDMI/DVI, VGA/RGBS, YPbPr, S-Video, or Composite Video) using the LBO Tx/Rx pair of your choice. LBO-DVI (Transmitter and Receiver) Application Diagram This example application diagram illustrates extending a large format LCD display up to 400 meters from the source using LBO-DVI modules to transmit a highresolution DVI signal over a single multimode SC fiber connection. inter-compatibility Diagram This diagram shows how the LBO-DVI receiver can be used in combination with any of the different input format transmitters to achieve both video format conversion and signal extension all in one simple system. This example shows a VGA signal being converted and extended, to a remote DVI input display.
