Leica RCD100 Digital Camera System The “all-in-one” affordable mapping solution The Leica RCD100 – It’s affordable! The new Leica RCD100 is the first highly productive, yet affordable plug-and-play “all-in-one” mapping solution for all those who want to convert from analog to digital airborne imaging or those who want efficiency and productivity for smaller to medium-sized mapping and orthophoto projects. Productivity and Efficiency – It’s affordable! The single camera housing of the Leica RCD100 comprises fully integrated components: up to two camera heads, control unit, exchangeable solid state memory as well as Leica IPAS20 Inertial Positioning and Attitude System with IMU. The Leica RCD100 features a fast frame rate and allows for simultaneous image acquisition in RGB and CIR. Innovative and tightly integrated end-to-end workflow solutions offer directly georeferenced imagery and ensure highest efficiency in data processing. Flexibility and Accuracy – It’s affordable! The Leica RCD100 offers 35 mm, 60 mm and 100 mm exchangeable lenses and the most rigid lens mounting on the market. Each camera is radiometrically and geometrically calibrated. This simply means flexibility and photogrammetric stability without compromise when mapping accuracy is needed most. In addition, the integration of Leica IPAS20 with a Leica PAV80 Gyro-stabilized Mount provides highest accuracy in data acquisition at an affordable price for a variety of airborne mapping and orthophoto applications.
