• LER Series rack with installed accessories • 18U (37.625”H) x 27.00”D x 23.06”W E.I.A. compliant welded rack includes a number of installed accessories commonly used in AV applications. Rack Construction & Features The LER series rack is fully welded 16-ga. steel with 14-ga. base reinforced at loadbearing junctions for strength equivalent to 11ga. steel. Features include welded sides with vents, solid top with vents, open front with top/bottom vents, beveled corners, recessed rear door with vents and key lock, compound knockout panels above/below rear door (.5” for wireless antennas, 1.25–0.875 and 2.0–1.375 for conduit), and a blank project panel below door. Includes one pair front mounting rails tapped 10-32 with 1.75” clearance to outside frame (fully adjustable front-to-rear), base with full size opening for cables, and a grounding stud. Load capacity 500 lbs. Black wrinkle powder epoxy finish. EIA/TIA/RoHS compliant. UL2416 Listed. Installed Accessories • Rear Rails RRD-18 (1 pr.): Tapped 10-32, fully adjustable frontto-rear. • Utility Shelves (3): 16-ga. steel two-part shelf with bottom vents, front/rear flanges (similar to USVC series shelf but without the hold-down bars). Measures 2U x 15”D x 19”W (17.31” usable, 50 lbs. load rating). Black semi-gloss powder epoxy finish. • Variable-Depth Shelf VDS-2-2032 (1): 2U x 20-32”D (adjustable) x 19”W supports 250 lbs.—requires front and rear rail support. • Vent Panels SVP-2 (3): 20-ga.steel, 2U x 19”W, flange. • Horizontal Cable Managers CMBS-4 (3): 14-ga. steel stackable bar with slots, 4” offset. • Vertical Cable Manager CMV3-12 (1): 16-ga. steel velcro post tie with square/round holes, 3.25”W x 21.00”H.
A&E Specifications The E.I.A. compliant, UL2416 Listed welded equipment rack shall be Lowell Model LER-1827-IAV which shall measure 23.06”W x 27.00”D x 37.625”H with 18U racking space. The rack shall be 16-ga. certified U.S. steel with 14-ga. steel base reinforced at all loadbearing junctions. It shall feature a solid top with vents, open base with grounding stud, open front with vents at top/bottom, welded side panels with vents, recessed rear door with vents and key lock, compound knockout panels above/below rear door (including 0.5” for wireless antennas, 1.25–0.875 and 2.0–1.375 for conduit), blank project panel below rear door, pair of front rails tapped 10-32 (adjustable), and black wrinkle powder epoxy finish. Additionally, the rack shall include these mounted accessories: pair of rear rails tapped 10-32 (adjustable), three 16-ga. steel two-part utility shelves (2U x 15”D x 19”W, 50 lbs. load capacity, vented base), one variable-depth steel shelf (2U x 20-32”D x 19”W, 250 lbs. load capacity), three steel vent panels (2U x 19”W, steel with flanges), one UL Listed power strip (six 15A single outlets, 6 ft. attached cord with plug, transient voltage surge suppression), three horizontal cable managers (19”W steel bars, stackable, 4” offset), one vertical cable manager (3.25”W x 21.00”H), mobile base with swivel casters designed to protect fine floors. Optional (order separately) • LFD-18: Surface-mount front door with key lock — solid steel with black wrinkle powder epoxy finish. Mounts left or right. • LFD-18FV: Surface-mount front door with key lock — fully vented steel with black wrinkle powder epoxy finish. Mounts left or right. • LFD-18P: Surface-mount front door with key lock — black steel frame with smoked plexiglass insert. Mounts left or right.
