Leviton’s New Compact Structured Media™ Enclosure For Multi-Dwelling Units (MDU’s) Offering a compact, cost-effective distribution solution for basic telephone and video in multi-dwelling units Definition Leviton’s new Compact Structured Media Enclosure for Multi-Dwelling Units (MDU’s) is designed to deliver a compact distribution point for basic telephone and video to owners/managers of multi-unit buildings. The Compact Structured Media Enclosure accommodates a variety of telephone/video distribution configurations by hosting up to three Telephone Expansion Boards and one Passive Video Splitter.
Application Leviton’s Compact Structured Media Enclosure, Telephone Expansion Board and Video Splitter distribution solution is ideal for apartments, coops, condominiums and affordable, military, senior and campus housing as well as urban mixed-use applications where a compact, cost-effective modular distribution point for basic telephone and video is needed.

Unique modular design has fewer parts and is made exclusively from ABS molded plastic to provide customers with cost savings in both materials and installation time, while providing the flexibility to accommodate a variety of telephone/video distribution configurations.
1 x 6 Bridged Telephone Expansion Board provides 4 lines to up to 6 locations and comes with IDC connectors for Cat 5 or 5e wire and a RJ45 expansion port
1 x 4 6-Line Bridged Telephone Expansion Board provides 6 lines to up to 4 locations and comes with IDC connectors for Cat 5 or 5e wire
Requires no tools or fasteners for both inside or snap-on cover
Features molded-in brackets that provide quick snap-in convenience for Telephone Expansion Boards
Angled video splitter shelf for easy installation
1 x 10 6-Line Bridged Telephone Security Expansion Board provides 6 lines to up to 10 locations and comes with IDC connectors for Cat 5 or 5e wire as well as a RJ45 jack and a punch down security interface to accommodate alarm systems
Capacity for up to three Telephone Expansion Boards and one Passive Video Splitter
Enclosure can be surface- or flush-mounted
4-, 6- or 8-Way 1GHZ Passive Video Splitters deliver a CATV or antenna signal to 4, 6 or 8 television outlets
Multiple knock-outs on top, bottom and sides support 1" conduit and facilitate cable routing and entry
Two-Year Limited Product Warranty
Enclosure may be locked for added security
ABS molded plastic construction provides structural integrity equal to, or better than, comparable metal enclosures at less cost
