Pre-Terminated Copper Trunk Cables Leviton’s copper trunk cable assemblies are the ideal solution for data centers and other applications where speed of installation is important. Factory termination and testing simplify installation while saving time and labor, as compared to field terminated installations. Assemblies are custom configured in pre-engineered lengths with connectors to meet the specific needs of each application. A braided sleeve binding bundles the individual cables into an aesthetic and cohesive trunk assembly while the included pulling eye protects terminations during shipment, ensuring easy and efficient installation.

System components meet or exceed the category requirements for performance per TIA/EIA 568-B.2 for CAT 5e, TIA/EIA 568-B.2-1 for CAT 6, and TIA 568-B.2-10 (current draft) for CAT 6A Jack-to-Jack assemblies are tested to permanent link requirements Jack-to-Plug assemblies are tested to channel requirements with a 10 foot patch cord Plug-to-Plug assemblies are tested to channel requirements

Available in plenum or riser cable ratings Material properties of braided mesh sleeve will match the cable jacket Standard colors are blue for UTP cable, grey for shielded cable, black for UTP jacks, and zinc (silver) for shielded jacks Available in 1 foot increments from 10-295 feet (minimum 30ft length for CAT 6A assemblies) Default alignment is staggered for jack terminations and even for plug and open terminations
WARRANTY INFORMATION All assemblies are 100% factory-tested, with test results included in the shipment. Pre-terminated cable assemblies are eligible for the Leviton Lifetime Product and System Performance Warranty without further testing after installation (configurations with "open" termination option will require testing after field termination).
TYPICAL SPECIFICATION Trunk cables shall be provided in bundles of 6 cables encased in a braided mesh sleeve. Material properties of the sleeve shall match that of the cable jacket. Trunk ends shall include a pulling eye to protect terminations during shipment and for use during installation. Pulling eye material shall attach directly to sleeve material to protect cables from excessive pulling force during installation. UTP jacks shall include Retention Force Technology for consistent system reliability. Plugs shall utilize a low-profile design with a clear boot that prevents snagging during use. Each trunk shall receive a unique serial number, and each cable shall be numbered relative to that serial number. All trunk cable assemblies are made to order.
