Remove the 2 screws of wire cover, and then remove the wire cover.(Fig.4) (Fig.4) (2.) Remove the 4 screws of back cover, and then remove the back cover(AL).(Fig.5) (Fig.5) (3.) Remove back cover. (Fig.6) (Fig.6) 4 (4.) Remove HDD kit. (Fig.7) (5.) Install RAM into slot.(Fig.8) (Fig.7) (Fig.8) (6.) Install HDD cable. (Be cautions to the PIN1 orientation)(Fig.9) (Fig.9) 5 (7.) Install HDD to HDD kit, and then screw on the HDD kit (use M3x4 screw).(Fig.10)(Fig.10-1) (Fig.10) (Fig.10-1) (8.) Connect the HDD cable to HDD.(Fig.11) (Fig.11) (9.) Put HDD kit onto the back cover and then screw them together.(Fig.12) (Fig.12) 6 (10.) Place the Thermal pad to the bottom portion of the HDD for maximum contribution of heat transfer.(Fig.13) (Fig.13) (11.) Screw the back cover with the provided screws. (M3x8, M3x5, and M3x10).(Fig.14) (Fig.14) (Fig.14) 7 (12.) Secure the back cover(AL). (Attention: secure the 4 screws of both side first as illustrated).(Fig.15) (Fig.15) (13.) Screw the wire cover back to the system.(Fig.16) (Fig.16) 8 1-5 Riser Card Installation (1.) Remove PCI hold-down. (Fig.17) (Fig.17) (2.) Break the PCI retention bracket. (Fig.18) (Fig.18) (3.) Insert RS001 into the PCI slot. (Fig.19) (Fig.19) 9 (4.) Insert PCI card to RS001. (Fig.20) (Fig.20) (5.) Secure the PCI hold-down with the provided screw. (Fig.21) (Fig.21) (6.) Tighten the M3x4 screw. (Fig.22) (Fig.22) 10 1-6 CD-ROM & DVD-ROM Installation (1.) Insert CD-ROM cable. (Fig.23) (Fig.23) (2.) Insert DC power cable. (Fig.24) (Fig.24) (3.) Secure CD-ROM onto CD-ROM kit, by using the provided screws (M2x3). (Fig.25) (Fig.25) 11 (4.) Insert CD-ROM cable & DC power cable to the adaptor. (Fig.26) (Fig.26) (5.) Use the cable tie to sort surplus DC power cable. (Fig.27) (Fig.27) (6.) Secure the CD-ROM kit onto the system by using the provided screws (M3x4). (Fig.28) (Fig.28) 12 1-7 Wireless Antenna Installation (1.) Remove the 4 screws(M3*5) of the back cover(AL). (Fig.29) (Fig.29) (2.) Remove the 2 screws(M3*5) of the chassis. (Fig.30) (Fig.30) (3.) Remove all cables on the motherboard. (Fig.31) (Fig.31) 13 (4.) Remove 4 screws(M3*5) of the motherboard. (Fig.32) (Fig.32) (5.) Take out the motherboard and turn it around. (Fig.33) (Fig.33) (6.) Buckle the antenna cable onto the mini PCI(J1). (Fig.34) (Fig.34) 14 (7.) Install the mini PCI into socket. (Fig.35) (Fig.35) (8.) Put the motherboard back to the case. (Be cautious to the position of antenna cable) (Fig.36) (Fig.36) (9.) Secure the 4 screws(M3*5) of the motherboard. (Fig.37) (Fig.37) 15 (10.) Secure the 2 screws(M3*5) of the case.
