OPERATION – In order for the plow lights to be activated the truck parking lamp switch must be on and the plow harness switch must be in the down position for low beam plow lights and in the up position for high beam plow lights. The middle position is off. The plow light harness and switch does not control any of the vehicles headlamp functions. It is recommended that the vehicle headlamps stay off when the plow lights are on to preserve the battery. On vehicles with auto lamps it may be necessary to turn the auto lamps off or see your dealer about disconnecting the auto lamp function.
