How does the system warranty work?
LinkSide
LinkSide system warranty provides a 25-year product and system performance assurance. LinkSide system warranty is only available when installed and tested by authorized LinkSide partner. LinkSide system warranty is only issued, when all the permanent link components contain LinkSide products. If the authorized Linkside partner does not pay in full for the goods supplied under the warranty in accordance with terms, the warranty will become null and void. In this case end user will be notified immediately by LinkSide representatives. It is the authorized LinkSide partner´s responsibility to ensure that the end user is fully aware of the terms and conditions.
An installation must be tested to Class E performance and 100% of the link tests must be performed using approved equipment. Tests need to be done according to ISO11801 Class E or EN50173 Class E. Once site testing has been completed LinkSide partner can apply for a system warranty by sending test results to LinkSide representatives. Acceptable file format is only .flw. Test results must be submitted within 60 days of the final test result date. Warranty is always issued to the the end user. Once a warranty has been approved a notification will be sent to you by email to advise you that the warranty has been issued and sent directly to your end user. The warranty period starts from the date of submitting test results.
Acceptable testing equipment is: Fluke DTX series 1200 and 1800, also Fluke DSX5000. The tester used needs to be calibrated within the last 12 months.
