LJ 5200 Maintenance Kit Instructions Contents of Maintenance Kit 1- Fuser 1- Tray 1 Pickup Roller 1- Tray 1 Separation Pad 1- Tray 2 Cassette Pickup Roller 1- Tray 2 Cassette Separation Pad 1- Tray 3 Pickup Roller2- Tray 3 Feed/Sep Rollers Fuser Removal 1 1 1. Remove Right Cover. 2. Remove Duplex unit or Filler Panel (whichever is applicable). 3. Remove Face Up Bin by removing two captive screws (top picture arrows). 4. Remove two screws (bottom picture arrows) and pull fuser from printer. 5. Insert new fuser in place of old fuser and reverse procedure. Content Provided by Parts Now LJ 5200 Maintenance Kit Instructions 2 Transfer Roller Removal 1. Open toner cartridge door and remove toner cartridge. 2. Pry up on left side of transfer roller shaft and slide left out of right bushing. 3. Install new transfer roller Tray 1 Pickup Roller Removal 1. Open toner cartridge door. 2. Pull tabs (arrows) on either side of roller out to release roller from shaft. 3. Insert new roller. Tray 1 Separation Pad Removal 1. Remove pickup roller 2. Use a flatbed screwdriver and gently pry out separation pad (arrow). 3. Install new separation pad. Content Provided by Parts Now LJ 5200 Maintenance Kit Instructions Tray 2 Cassette Pickup Roller End to remove first. Tool 1 2 1. Remove cassette. 2. Remove roller by grasping and sliding to the left against spring pressure, then lifting roller out from right side first. 3. Insert new roller by inserting left side and aligning slots so roller pops back into place. Tray 2 Cassette Separation Pad 1. 2. 3. 4. Remove cassette. Remove screws (arrows). Lift pad and remove. Install new separation pad. Optional Cassette Pickup Roller 1. Remove Paper Tray. 2. Pinch tab at end of pickup roller (white) and remove. 3. Install new roller. Optional Cassette Feed Roller 1. Remove Paper Tray. 2. Pinch tab at end of feed roller (blue) and remove. 3. Install new roller. Pinch tab at end of feed roller and remove. 4. Install new roller. Resetting Maintenance Counter 1. There is no reset for this printer. Troubleshooting 50 Error: 1. Turn machine off. 2. Reinstall fuser. 13 Paper Jam: 1. Verify all feed/sep rollers are clipped onto shaft properly. 2. Verify spring action on tray 1 paper flag and reinsert if disturbed. 3. Check paper path for paper, paying extra attention to the area forward of the tray 1 pickup assembly. Content Provided by Parts Now
