This system does not produce infra-red and ultra violet light so heat production is minimised, avoiding discoloration to objects being lit. OCTOPOD SYSTEMS The Octopod intelligent LED colour system has been designed for energy efficient, long-life operation. It uses very little power and generates minimal heat. Based on the double ended MSR 1200 short arc lamp the new Pilot 1200 is an all round performer. There are two gobo wheels, one with rotating gobos the other with fixed gobos, and a Cyan-Yellow-Magenta colour mixing system supplemented by a fixed colour wheel with seven colours plus white. No less than four bi-directionally rotating indexable prisms add dynamics to the effects you can create. Frost, focus, zoom and dimming are all linearly adjustable and UV, bi-colour and colour temperature correction filters are also fitted as standard. PILOT LASER 150 & 300 The Pilot Laser 300 is a new member of the growing PR moving head laser range. It features a 300 mW DPSS green laser with impressive laser output and high speed scanning systems. The scan angle is an impressive 40º, and the moving head provides 370º of pan and 265º of tilt. There are 290,000 patterns and 16 sets of animations are built into the 16 Mb FLASH memory. The preset programs and head movement can be controlled with DMX 512.
