Electrical Specifications
• Flexible: With a 1/4-inch minimum bend radius, LMR-100A has comparable flexiblity to RG-316/RG-174 and affords much lower loss, greater shielding effectiveness, and lower cost. • Low Loss: LMR-100A has lower loss than other RG-316/ RG-174 type cables. This is achieved through the use of a composite aluminum tape outer conductor and low loss polyethylene dielectric. • Weatherproof: The black PVC outer jacket provides excellent flexibility while meeting a broad range of indoor and outdoor requirements including weatherability and fire retardance. • RF Shielding: The aluminum tape outer conductor is overlapped to provide 100% coverage, resulting in >90 dB RF shielding (>180 dB crosstalk) and excellent interference immunity (ingress and egress); a substantial improvement over RG-316/RG-174’s 40 dB performance level. • Phase Stability: The un-bonded aluminum tape outer conductor provides improved phase stability as compared with standard RG-316/RG-174 cables. • Connectors and Assemblies: Times Microwave provides jumper cable assemblies fabricated with LMR-100A cable and a variety of connector interface combinations. Custom assemblies with phase matching, insertion loss matching, and other special electrical or marking requirements can also be provided. Standard connectors designed for RG-316/RG174 connectors can be used directly on LMR-100A. Part Description Part Number
