Features
1. Star configuration By using this repeater hub, star configuration is realized on a normal CC-Link trunk line. A single module provides up to 8 branches (segments*) in a star configuration, with no transmission speed restrictions. * In a CC-Link system using repeaters, a block of devices connected by wiring from one terminal resistor to another terminal resistor is referred to as a segment.

2. Repeater function This repeater hub extends the transmission distance of branches simply by connecting more hubs. The maximum extension distance depends on the transmission speed used. Adding hubs to each branch gives even more scope to extending transmission distances. Extensions of up to 1200 m at 156 kbps are possible. Connect up to 64* slave stations (local stations, remote I/O stations, remote device stations, intelligent device stations, etc.). Deploy AJ65FBTA as necessary, including incorporation with conventional model hubs.

* Using hubs will not extend the number of slave stations that can be connected. As stipulated in the CC-Link specifications, station connections are limited to 64.

4. Easy to add modules
With IP67 waterproofing and dustproofing, the module is suitable for external installation. This eliminates the need for the module to be installed inside a cabinet, therefore reducing cost and improving the accessibility of the module.
Adding and changing modules is much easier by using this repeater hub. By allowing entire branches to be removed without affecting the entire system, this improves the overall configuration flexibility and allows maintenance to be conducted much more efficiently.

AJ65FBTA-RPH Configuration Example Conventionally modules in different processes were mixed on a same network. Now this repeater hub allows wiring to be separated by process. Consequently, maintenance on a single branch is now possible, without affecting other processes on the same line.
